We are constantly scouring the UK and make regular buying trips to France in order to source a wide variety of wonderful antique and vintage items for your home and garden.
Over the many years we have been in business we have built up a network of contacts across the antiques trade. We are always on the hunt for pieces with that little bit extra- furniture of notable design, historical interest and exceptional craftsmanship.
We stock furniture, decorative antiques and art from the 1760s to the 1960s, of many styles and periods, the important thing to us is that the items have quality and we have the experience and expertise to keep the standard high.
All pieces are restored professionally at my Brighton workshop. Please email with details of any items of antique furniture you might like restored.
After 14 years, my shop on Trafalgar Street , Brighton is now closed.
I will now be showcasing a selection of my stock at Petworth Antiques Market. This is an exciting move for me as Petworth is a haven for Antique and Art lovers and the town hosts some of the best antique shops and art galleries in the country. Petworth Antiques Market boasts around 35 dealers under one roof and is well worth a visit. This wonderful new opportunity will allow me to further refine my stock and offer some truly superb pieces for sale - I'll be there Mondays or by appointment so do come and say hello!

We sell Antique and Vintage Furniture but also much more, like Lighting, Mirrors, Art and Architectural Salvage. We stock a lot of 20th Century Furniture - Old School Furniture, Banks of Drawers, Haberdashery Cabinets and other Old Shop Fittings.
We sell Furniture by well known brands such as Heal’s and Globe Wernike. We love good Arts and Crafts and Art Deco, we love Mid Century Design and Industrial Chic.
We often stock French and other Continental items. We also sell some phenomenal period furniture from the 18th and 19th Centuries - Georgian, Regency and Victorian pieces of exceptional charm and charisma. These older pieces are all hand made and we greatly admire the skills of the men who created them.
We sell many items of interior furniture such as Desks, Chests of Drawers, Tables and Chairs but also items for Garden. We regularly stock Garden Planters, Urns and Statuary as well as Garden Furniture such as Benches and Cafe Tables.
All our items are carefully selected. We aim to stock the most sought after examples of Timeless Design. We search for Originality and Classic Style. We do not accept the mediocre!
Quality is hugely important at Bellerophon. We look for pieces which boast exquisite craftsmanship. We look for pieces made from the best materials - the choicest cuts of rare timbers and veneers. We look for well proportioned, well designed furniture which is stylish and elegant that can add a touch of luxury to your interior.
We work hard to keep our prices competitive without cutting corners. We are confident all our stock offers great value for money.
A UK delivery service is offered on all items. We offer a Free Delivery Service to those in the Brighton and Hove area. Items may also be collected in person by appointment. Delivery usually takes about a fortnight for larger items.
Unless requested otherwise, delivery will be by 1 man only and help will be required to unload heavy items. 2 man delivery teams may be available at extra cost, please contact us before buying if you have special delivery requirements. Please contact before buying for quotes on International Shipping. Smaller items will be posted via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded.
